Either way,

If you did save any superhero trading cards – It’s time to dust off the cobwebs. As far as trading cards go…

I’m going to start off strong in an attempt to encourage friendly competition.

My Favorite SuperHero Trading Card

Spider-Man is one of the most loved comic book characters of all time. And for good reason. He’s great.

I used to spend a lot of time ripping open plastic-y aluminum-y wrappers.

That was because I knew that if I tore threw enough of them, I would find something like this. Of course, mostly it was the same 3 cards I already had, but needed 6 more to complete a 9-card set… those were rough times back then…

Of course, along with the amazing art, you yourself could gain a superpower. The superpower of knowing way too much about your favorite comic book characters. Which is a great way to pay a little homage.

Why It’s So Cool

On this particular card, you get a nice summary of Spider-Mans origins, powers and what the universe that he lives in is like.

Back then, without the internet, this was the only way you could find some of this stuff out. Or it was a way to make it until the next issue came out. Like I said… rough times back then.

This is one of many cards I have in my own collection. I merely want to enjoy the art. I also want you to enjoy it. That was the main reason for saving them anyway.

Anyways, whats your favorite superhero trading card?

I know it’s one of those foil or holograph special cards. Those were always awesome. I never had any luck, did you?
